Topical use means applying CBD directly to the skin, in the form of creams and balms. It is a cosmetic, local use: the CBD stays in the layers of the skin and passes very little, if at all, into the general circulation.

      How it works

Applied to the skin, CBD acts only where it is applied. You usually feel the cream within 15 to 45 minutes, and its effect stays limited to the area of application. These figures are indicative and depend on the formula and the skin.

      Applying a CBD cream well

      • Apply to clean, dry skin, massaging until fully absorbed.
      • Try it first on a small area to check how your skin tolerates it.
      • Do not apply to a wound, mucous membrane or irritated skin.
Applied to the skin, CBD hardly enters the blood: it is the format with the lowest risk of a positive drug test.

      Frequently asked questions

Does a CBD cream have an effect on the whole body?

No. Applied to the skin, CBD stays local. For general use, sublingual oils or formats to swallow are more suitable.

Can I combine a cream and a CBD oil?

Yes, the two uses are independent. The cream is applied locally, the oil is taken under the tongue.

Cosmetic product. CBD is not a medicine. For external use only.
