CBD Mini Buds
CBD trim and mini buds are the economical formats of CBD flower. The same plant, the same cannabinoid concentration, the same aromatic profile as large buds, just in a smaller format or resulting from the trimming process. It's the logical choice for daily consumption without compromising on quality.
Trim, mini buds: what's the difference?
| Format | Description | Ideal Use |
|---|---|---|
| Trim | Leaves and fragments from trimming flowers, covered in trichomes | Infusions, homemade extractions (oils, butters), economical daily use |
| Mini buds | Small flowers measuring 8 to 12 mm, same varieties as premium flowers | Vaporization, infusion, regular use with the best quality/price ratio |
The mini buds offered here (Maliboo, Skittlez, Blueberry Muffin) come from the same Weedream indoor cultivations as their large bud equivalents. The difference is purely visual and in price, not in quality.
How to use trim
Trim is particularly well-suited for infusions: heat whole milk or water with a spoonful of coconut oil, add the trim, let it infuse for 20 minutes over low heat without ever boiling. As CBD is fat-soluble, it doesn't release into water alone, hence the importance of a fatty substance. You can also incorporate it into butter for cooking, after decarboxylation in the oven at 110°C for 40 minutes.
Frequently asked questions
Do mini buds have the same CBD as premium flowers?
Yes. They come from the same varieties and the same cultivations. The CBD concentration and terpene profile are identical. Only the size of the flower differs.
Can trim be vaporized?
Yes, but the aromatic result is less refined than with a whole flower. Trim is primarily optimized for infusions and extractions.
What quantity of trim for an infusion?
Approximately 1 g per 250 ml of liquid with a fatty substance. Adjust according to your tolerance by starting low, as with all CBD formats.
