Switzerland has recognised hemp expertise and a different legal framework: hemp with less than 1% THC falls outside Swiss narcotics legislation. In France, the applicable framework includes a 0.3% THC threshold and other conditions depending on the product.

These thresholds concern THC, not CBD. They do not, by themselves, guarantee better quality or stronger effects: variety, cultivation, drying, composition and lab reports also matter when comparing products.
