Learn more and chooseInhalation is the fastest way to take CBD: the first effects are usually felt within minutes. This collection brings together all our products to inhale: flowers, mini buds, hash and pollen, pre-rolled joints, tobacco substitutes and CBD vapes.
How it works
When inhaled, CBD passes through the lungs straight into the bloodstream, without going through the digestive system. This explains how quickly it acts: on average 1 to 5 minutes for the first effects, lasting about 1 to 3 hours. These figures are indicative and vary with the product, the amount and the person.
Smoking, vaporising or vaping
- Flowers, mini buds and hash: ideally used with a vaporiser, which heats without burning. Smoking a joint produces tar and carbon monoxide, like any burning plant material.
- CBD vapes: ready-to-use cartridges and e-liquids, with a more consistent dose from one puff to the next and no combustion.
- Tobacco substitutes: herbal blends with no tobacco or nicotine, to help cut down on tobacco in a joint.
Frequently asked questions
Which product should I choose to inhale CBD?
Flowers offer the fullest aromatic profile, mini buds the best value for money, and hash a more concentrated texture and aroma. Vapes suit you if you want to avoid combustion altogether and dose more easily.
Is inhaling more effective than oil?
It works faster but for a shorter time. Sublingual oil takes longer to act but its effects last longer. The choice depends mainly on your habits and the time of day.
Can an inhaled CBD product cause a positive test?
Yes. Flowers, resins and Full Spectrum vapes can contain detectable THC. We explain detection times and the rules for drivers in our guide on drug testing.
CBD is not a medicine. For adults only. Do not use before driving.
